About
Celebrating Creativity and Bridging the Opportunity Gap
We are getting excited for Hamptons Art Camp- Summer 2023!
Our camp is for children ages 6-12 years old and is held Monday-Friday from 9-3 (with the exception of week of 7/3 when camp is held for four days due to July 4th). The camp is held at The Church on 48 Madison Street and also at the First Presbyterian Church also known as Old Whaler's Church on 44 Union Street, half a block away. We spend the mornings at The Church and then we walk the children to the First Presbyterian Church where we will have lunch before we continue our activities. Each day will bring new exciting projects that will include drawing, painting, printmaking, mask making, beading, pottery, sculpture, sewing, collage, slime making, cooking, planting, water play and outdoor games.
Past projects have also included making dog beds for animal shelters, preparing food for pantries and making greeting cards for nursing home residents etc.
Hamptons Art Camp is a part of a local nonprofit called Hamptons Community Outreach (HCO). For more information on what HCO does, please visit hamptonscommunityoutreach.org and @hamptonscommunityoutreach on Instagram.
